Start planting gardens, folks

The weather patterns have changed, which has resulted in droughts in some places, floods in some places, freezes in some places. All that bad weather causes the farmers to have misfortune — crop failures, shortage of foods. The Farmer’s Almanac predicts there will be more droughts. People who grow home gardens can attend to watering the plants better to get the good harvest.

I have read that the average size person eats 2,000 pounds of food each year. Just growing a few hundred pounds of food is not much, maybe enough for a couple of months for one person. There are other family members. Some are sick or old. They need food, too. In some cases, extended family members and/or friends can go together to buy land to enable growing very much foods. Greenhouses enable growing foods during the winter.

It is wise for you to talk to family, friends, and other people telling them how important it is to have large gardens. If many people start talking about this very important need, then maybe many more people will have a large garden. It is a matter of life and death!
