Scott Ness, a 2006 Albert Lea High School graduate, graduated from the North Bennet Street School in Boston, Mass., with a degree in advanced piano technology.

North Bennet Street School offers intensive, hands-on training in traditional trades and fine craftsmanship. Graduation exercises were held in the historic Old North Church in Boston.

Ness a graduate of Oberlin School of Music, in cello performance, has also completed all of the extensive Piano Guild Examines and is now a registered piano technician in the Piano Technicians Guild. He is a summer piano technician intern at the Tanglewood Music Festival in Lenox, Mass., summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
