Clara Mack, 78, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Clara F. Mack of Albert Lea will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening and one hour prior to the service.
Clara died Saturday afternoon at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea. She was 78 years of age. She resided at Brian’s Elder Care in Albert Lea.
Clara was born June 14, 1934, in Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Wayne and Gladys (Flanagan) Mack. She attended public school in Washington. With her family she moved to Albert Lea in 1952 and had been employed at Cedar Valley Services. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church.
Clara enjoyed reading, playing cards, crafts and watching the Twins and Vikings.
Clara is survived by her nieces: Alzada (Kent Flatness) Gulbertson of Albert Lea, Cherri (Steve) Nelson of Albert Lea, Brenda (Joe) Avelar of Albert Lea and Marlene Boerner of Albert Lea; nephews: Arnold (Susan) Gulbertson of Albert Lea and Francis (Frank) Gulbertson of Albert Lea; great-nieces and nephews include: Daniel Gulbertson, Bradley Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Angie Sanchez, Tony Boerner, Joe Avelar Jr., Adam Avelar, Samantha Reyerson, Brenda Lee Avelar, Tabitha Avelar, Jessica Gulbertson and Josephine Avelar; and many great-great-nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law survives, Francis Gulbertson.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; sister Opal Gulbertson; brother Charles Biddle; nephew Ed Boerner; great-niece Vicky Boerner; and great-nephew Rudy Sanchez.
