Community Sew Day will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Senior Center at the Skyline Plaza in Albert Lea. Come all day or for however long you can sew. Bring your sewing machine, scissors, pins and a sack lunch. Beverages and cookies will be provided. Sewing kits for various projects will be provided. Projects will be quilts, baby bibs, dresses and personal care bags. A limited number of fleece blanket kits will be available. For more information call 383-8977.
