Filing for area school board seats starts Tues.

Seats are up for grabs on school boards at area schools.

Filing starts Tuesday and ends Aug. 14. The filing period is for the Nov. 6 general election. There will be no primary election. The fee for filing is $2. Seats opening up at the area schools include the following.

 

United South Center

Three four-year terms are up for election this fall in the United South Central School District. The incumbents are Kathy Krebsbach, Steve Navara and Christie Wetzel.

Candidates can file for a seat at the superintendent’s office at the USC school in Wells.

 

New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva

Three four-year terms are up for election this fall for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva School District’s school board. The incumbents are Lori Routh, Michele Moxon and Mike Moen.

Candidates can file for a seat at the superintendent’s office at the NRHEG school in New Richland.

 

Alden-Conger

Three four-year terms are up for election this fall for Alden-Conger School District’s school board. The incumbents are Ryan Merkouris, Kris Neel and Gary Geesman.

Candidates can file for a seat at the superintendent’s office in Alden.

 

Glenville-Emmons

Three four-year terms are up for election this fall for Glenville-Emmons School District’s school board. The incumbents are Karen Hansen, Lisa Hajek and Susie Miller. Candidates can file for a seat at the superintendent’s office at the school in Glenville.

 

Albert Lea

Four terms are up for election this fall at Albert Lea Area Schools for its school board. The incumbents are Linda Laurie, Bill Leland, Jeshua Erickson and Kim Nelson. Candidates can file for a seat at the superintendent’s office, which is at Albert Lea High School while construction takes place at Brookside Education Center.
