The Albert Lea Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meeting scheduled for Monday evening has been canceled.

Parks and Recreation Director Jay Hutchison said the meeting was scheduled for lack of a quorum. Many of the board members were on vacation.

There were several items that had been slated for the agenda, including discussion about a proposal for soccer fields at Edgewater Park, the expanded disc golf course at Bancroft Bay Park, a proposed RV park and an update on the Edgewater Cottage.
