Albert Lea’s Presbyterian Church hosts events

Presbyterian Women entertained an Opportunity Brunch on Sept. 16 to raise money for Third World countries and the community. The Presbyterian Fall gathering will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea. Dessert and coffee will be served. The program will be given by Darcy Netzer and Maurine Larson titled “In the Footsteps of Jesus.” They recently traveled to the holy land.

Presbyterian Women of the Presbytory of the Twin Cities are holding the 2012 Fall Gathering at 9 a.m. Oct. 13 in Stillwater with the program “Building Bridges, Connecting Generations.” Rides are provided.

Church Women United to hold “World Community Day” at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Presbyterian Church. The program is “Abiding in the Community” with Susie Petersen and Jim Troe speakers.
