The Albert Lea Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire around 2 p.m. Saturday. A Ford Taurus station wagon started on fire. The car was on eastbound Interstate 90 about a fourth of a mile west of Interstate 35.

The fire spread to nearby grass, which was also extinguished.
