The Albert Lea Hockey Open was held Aug. 25 at Green Lea Golf Course. The champions are pictured from left: Brad Johnson, Luke Michels, Joe Narverud and Sandy Naverud. The champions shot a score of 58. The event was a fundraiser for the Albert Lea Youth Hockey Association and boys’ high school Blue Line Club to assist in paying for ice time, equipment, referees and coaches. The event was made up of 120 golfers and the hockey clubs would like to thank their 2012 sponors for helping. --Submitted
