Schedule of events for Saturday

 

7:30 to 10:30 a.m.: Pancake breakfast at the fire hall. Donations will benefit the Hollandale First Responders. The department will have a fire extinguisher simulator to show.

7:30 to 10:30 a.m.: A market of arts, crafts and farmers will be at the frontage road by the fire hall.

8 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The Heritage Huis will hold museum tours.

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Citywide garage sales

10:30 a.m.: The grand parade starting at the south end of town

Noon: Car football (registration is at 9 a.m.) at Mr. Machinery. Moe Geo’s food stand will be at the machinery events and the 3-in-1 Bar & Restaurant will be open all day, too.

Following car football: The 4-wheel drive mudbog at Mr. Machinery.

2:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Kids’ games, free with lots of prizes. Games will be at City Park.

3 p.m.: Beanbag toss tournament at the 3-in-1 Bar & Restaurant. Register at 2 p.m.

5 to 7 p.m.: Water wars at the city’s water tower. Donations benefit the Hollandale First Responders.

8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Mischief and Mayhem’s dueling pianos and a DJ will be at the 3-in-1 Bar & Restaurant. There is a $5 cover charge for the entertainment.
