Katelin Sawyer (Voshell), 14, Onamia

Katelin Michele Sawyer (Voshell), 14, of Onamia, passed away on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in Onamia. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Onamia High School gymnasium, 35465 125th Ave., Onamia, MN 56359. A second service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea with a visitation one hour prior to service at the church, 501 S. Washington Ave., Albert Lea. Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia. It can be reached at 320-532-3218.

Sawyer

Katelin was born on Oct. 5, 1997, in Austin, to Kris and Gary Voshell. She moved to Albert Lea in March of 1998. Her sister, Kaycee, was born there. Katelin attended school in Albert Lea for two years. The family moved to Onamia in January of 2005, where her brother, Jamie, was born. She was active in volleyball and loved fishing. Katelin was really looking forward to her first deer hunting trip. She also loved hanging out with friends and cousins. Her current goal was to get her drivers license.

Katelin is survived by her parents: Kris and Gary; sister, Kaycee; brother, Jamie; maternal grandparents: Michele and Mike Morehouse; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Katelin was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: James and Doris Voshell; and great-grandparents.

She will be sadly missed. We love you “KK-Charlie.”
