Albert Lea High School will host a college fair from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The event will be for all eighth- through 12th-grade students and their parents. Representatives from more than 100 regional colleges, universities, community colleges, technical colleges, military organizations and specialty schools will be available to visit with and answer questions. Admission is free. A complete list of the attending institutions can be found on the MACAC website at www.mn-acac.org (under the college fair tab click on Minnesota Education Fairs calendar then choose Albert Lea High School.) All area schools have information — students contact your school counselor/guidance department for additional information.

Students can register their information ahead of time. They can register their personal information and create a personal barcode to be scanned at the fair by colleges that they are interested in. Registration is available at www.gotomef.com. Complete the registrations, print out the barcode (or upload it to your phone) and bring it with you on Wednesday night. Each representative will have a scanner.
