The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office on Monday issued a restriction on the use of burning permits.

This is in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’s restrictions on burning.

Small camp fires are still allowed.

A news release stated the restriction may be lifted if significant rain falls.
