Hampton’s “Appomattox” takes place at the end of the Civil War and during the civil rights era. The play deals with the aftermath of slavery and the struggle for equal rights.

Single tickets for Bond’s appearance are $20, or $15 for Guthrie subscribers and students, and are on sale at the Guthrie Box Office, by phone or online.
