Hog farms broken into

The office to a hog farm at 71082 300th St. was reported broken into overnight Monday night. A television was taken. The incident was reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office at 10:31 a.m. Tuesday.

A gun was reported missing from a hog barn at 32871 630th Ave., in Freeborn County south of New Richland, at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Money missing from hotel

Money was reported missing from America’s Best Value Inn, 2306 E. Main St., at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

 

Gas taken from vehicle

A gas cap and gas were reported taken from a vehicle at 1906 S.E. Marshall St. at 8:09 p.m. Tuesday, police stated. The incident reported took place overnight Monday.

 

6 cited after fight at ALHS

Six teenagers were cited for disorderly conduct after police received a call of a fight at Albert Lea High School at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports. The teenager who reportedly instigated the fight was also cited for fifth-degree assault.

Police reports stated a few who stepped in to stop the fight were among those cited for disorderly conduct.

All of the teenagers cited were juveniles except for one identified as Benjamin John Enger, 18.

The fight reportedly began over a thrown apple during the lunch period.

 

Mailbox damaged

A mailbox was reported damaged at 1323 Crossroads Boulevard at 7:02 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
