The Humane Society of Freeborn County will hold a Halloween event. The event called “Howl-o-Ween” will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 27 at 101 James Ave., Albert Lea. There will be trick or treat stations and a costume contest at noon. Awards will be given to best adult or group, child and pet. The cost is $5 per group or a donation of pet supplies.
