I’m writing this letter to express my deep concern for the marriage amendment which will be voted upon by the people of Minnesota in this coming election.

It seems that there has been an assault on marriage since the ’60s. Divorce has become commonplace and people seem to feel that it’s all right just to live together instead of getting married. Now society would have us believe that marriage is acceptable between whomever, whether male or female.

The Bible says, “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3 NIV. We still have the freedom to vote. Please vote yes for marriage to be between a man and a woman only.

Think about what kind of world this will be for our children and those who come after us if we don’t make a stand for what is right.
