I want to thank the Albert Lea Tribune for the wonderful coverage they have been giving the Albert Lea Art Center’s various community events throughout the year. The front page on Oct. 3 covered the art center’s “reshow” exhibit and mentioned the open house Thursday evening. Featured in the article were pictures of exhibitors and some of the repurposed and remade items displayed in the show. Many people came to the open house to see this exhibit and throughly enjoyed the thrift store outfits being modeled at the style show. What a fun evening! Thanks to the Tribune for helping to promote these Art Center activities.
