On behalf of Albert Lea Community Theatre and Civic Music, I would like to thank all the volunteers who made the opening gala ribbon-cutting and performance of “The Met: Live in HD” so special. Funders making this project possible include Civic Music, Mayo Clinic Health System, the Cuppage Foundation, ACT, Freeborn County Community Foundation and the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Another production, “Otello,” was presented Saturday at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, 147 N. Broadway, Albert Lea.
