Friends of Tom Seltun are coordinating a benefit event to assist with covering expenses for his continued cancer treatment. The benefit will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Moose Lodge in Albert Lea.  The committee is asking community members and businesses to assist  by donating an item, certificate or cash donation. You can also contribute by purchasing burger basket tickets in advance for $7, or by purchasing a $10 raffle ticket to win prizes. Approximately 100 items will be auctioned off during a silent auction. An account has been set up in Seltun’s name at Farmers State Bank in Albert Lea. Items for donation can be dropped off at the Law Enforcement Center to Diane Lenway or Laurie Remakel. To schedule pickup of a donation call 391-4040.
