Walz will fight for working families

As a teacher and high school football coach, Tim Walz knows how important a good education is to preparing our young kids for the jobs of the 21st century. He also knows having a well-educated population in southern Minnesota is key to creating many of those good-paying jobs in this region. That’s why Tim is fighting every day as our U.S. Representative to keep college affordable for working families. He has voted twice to stop interest rates on student loans from doubling, saving the average student $1,000 per year.

And Walz also says we need to reform No Child Left Behind to make sure our students are getting the best education we can provide. Tim Walz is working every day to ensure a brighter future for our children and grandchildren. That’s why he will have my vote on Nov. 6.
