Wis. man injured in crash

A 22-year-old Oshkosh, Wis., man was injured over the weekend after he reportedly drove off a dead-end road, into a ditch and over railroad tracks.

According to police, Casey Thomas Lamarche was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after he reportedly was driving eastbound on Sykes Avenue. He told police he didn’t realize the road ended.

He was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry.

Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Christopher Allen Jacobsen for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 8:04 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Freeborn County roads 29 and 10, according to reports.

 

Vehicles damaged

A vehicle was reported damaged while parked at 815 S. Third Ave. at 4:54 a.m. Sunday, according to police.

Windows were reported smashed out of a vehicle at 811 S. Third Ave. at 5:40 a.m. Sunday, police stated.

A vehicle at 904 S. First Ave. was reported damaged at 5:53 a.m. Sunday, according to police.

The back window was reported smashed out of a vehicle at 711 S. Third Ave. at 5:09 p.m. Sunday.

 

License plate stolen

The rear license plate on a Dodge Caravan was reported stolen at 10:35 a.m. Sunday at 1912 Bridge Ave.

 

Window broken

A garage window at 914 Lincoln Ave. was reported broken at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, police stated.

 

Grass fire reported

A grass fire was reported at 80302 185th St., Hayward, at 11:29 a.m. Friday, according to reports.

 

Three cited for underage drinking

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Colby Thomas Smith, 20, for underage drinking and driving after a traffic stop on Freeborn County Road 32 south of Freeborn County Road 13 at 1:22 a.m. Sunday, reports stated. Also cited were Scott Ray Avila, 19, for underage drinking and possession of alcohol, and Michael Marcus Hackbarth, 19, for underage drinking

 

Men arrested for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Wesley Dean Thostenson for open container violations and Alan Scott Hendrickson Jr. for drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop near the intersection of 170th Street and Freeborn County Road 14 at 2:13 p.m. Friday, reports stated.
