3 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Rachel Marie Monson-Fenstuen for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and drug paraphernalia after dispatchers received a call at 3:55 a.m. Sunday of a person driving southbound in the northbound lane of Minnesota Highway 13 south of Hartland.

Albert Lea police arrested James Michael Best, 47, for misdemeanor theft and fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after Best reportedly shoplifted from Walmart at 4:26 p.m. Friday, reports stated.

Police arrested Luke Andrew Waugh, 31, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after dispatchers received a report of a car door open at 2102 E. Main St. and a man laying on the ground. Waugh reportedly tested .24.

8 cited for underage drinking

Police cited five juveniles for underage drinking at 10:49 p.m. Friday after police received a loud party complaint at 2014 Highland Ave., according to reports.

Three juveniles were cited for underage drinking at an apartment at 616 James Ave. at 10:39 p.m. Sunday, reports stated.

 

Scrap metal taken

A large pile of scrap metal was reported missing from 76460 250th St., northeast of Albert Lea, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Semi, house egged

A semi and a house were reported egged in Glenville on Saturday.

According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the semi was reported egged at 490 S. Center Ave. at 9:09 p.m. Saturday, and the house was reported egged at 311 Second Ave. at 9:13 p.m.

 

House broken into

A house was reported broken into at 78320 Minnesota Highway 251, west of Hollandale, at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

 

Woman cited for disorderly conduct

Police cited Lynette Shavonna Duncon for disorderly conduct at 11:12 a.m. Sunday at 80880 Freeborn County Road 46, according to reports. Reports indicated another person was cited for fifth-degree assault.

 

House ransacked

A rear window of a house at 515 Triangle Drive was reported broken and the house ransacked at 4:48 p.m. Friday, according to police.

 

2 cited for shoplifting

Police cited Ashley Lynn Hatzenbeller, 20, for misdemeanor theft from Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave., over the weekend.

Police cited Sherry Marie Brennan, 30, for shoplifting from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 2:16 p.m. Saturday, reports stated.

 

Purse taken

A purse was reported taken from a car, 1417 Todd Ave., at 9:06 a.m. Saturday, according to police.
