Albert Lea’s senior Chrissy Monson placed 126th at the Class AA state cross country tournament in Northfield on Saturday.

Monson ran a time of 15 minutes, 46.2 seconds in her fifth and final time at the tournament.

Last year Monson placed 54th with a time of 15:21.5.

The Class AA champion was Maria Hauger of Shakopee with a time of 13:42.
