Burglaries reported

A burglary was reported at 5:41 a.m. today at 19948 690th Ave., west of Albert Lea. The alleged burglar was in a white four-door car and left eastbound on 200th Street, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Sampson Dairy, 126 St. Thomas Ave., was reported broken into at 4:31 a.m. today, according to police.
Cars broken into
A car was reported broken into at 10:27 p.m. Wednesday at 918 St. Thomas Ave., according to Albert Lea police. A black Coach purse and $800 cash were reported missing.
A vehicle was reported gone through at 11:19 p.m. Wednesday at 1009 St. Jacob Ave. The incident had reportedly took place sometime in the 2 1/2 hours prior, police stated. 4P. 2
2 cited for theft
Albert Lea police cited a 16-year-old girl for the theft of shoes from Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave., at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday, according to reports.
Police cited Scott Bradley Knutson, 47, for theft at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday at Comfort Inn, 810 Happy Trails Lane, after a woman reportedly had her phone taken at Walmart earlier that evening.
