HASTINGS — A former Simley High School student teacher accused of sending a nude photo of herself to a 17-year-old student has pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Twenty-six-year-old Jenna Anne Schultz of Minnetonka will be sentenced Feb. 12. The gross misdemeanor carries a penalty of up to 60 days. She also was ordered to undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation.

The charges stemmed from a series of text and Facebook messages Schultz allegedly sent to a male student while she was a student teacher at the high school last spring. Investigators said one message included a nude photo.

Schultz also faced felony stalking charges. Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom saidthose will be dismissed when she is sentenced under her plea deal.
