On behalf of The Friends of the Albert Lea Public Library, co-chairwoman Judy Mullen and I wish to thank our volunteers and customers for another successful book sale which took place in October. We would also like to thank the Sentence to Serve workers who are instrumental in our book sale preparations and the city employees for making the garage available. The Friends support library programming which might not otherwise be available for library patrons. The Friends appreciate donations of gently used books but because of the volume and limited space, we cannot accept magazines or sets of encyclopedias. Remember to visit our bookstore located on the first floor of City Hall. We hope to see everyone in the spring for our next sale.
