Make sure to get out and vote

Right now we are so concerned about money, votes, campaign ads and everything else that comes with an election, that we fail to realize what it is we’re fighting for. That, my friends, is a country of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When our forefathers founded this great nation, they had courage, bravery, leadership and trust in the Lord to someday live in a place where their kids and future generations could have the freedom they so desperately desired.

But they didn’t have a lot of money. They didn’t have brutal campaigns. They didn’t have an Electoral College or corporate sponsors. But they went on to create the greatest government our world has ever seen. I am ashamed to live in a country that doesn’t seek the right hand of God first. We would not be a country if it weren’t for the forefathers that put their trust in God before their political careers, because they knew that creating a nation could only be accomplished by help of the Lord.

We need a leader who will put this great country before their careers. Someone who will look beyond the realm of American politics, to the outside world. If we want to stay a great nation we have to put our egos aside and fix our problems here at home, and problems such as world hunger, slavery and child soldiering that face countries across the world. If we’re voting on how to vote, I think that tells you something about where our country is headed. It will take common sense, fair and careful thinking, and bipartisan efforts to change this country and world.

Whether you think Barack Obama, Mitt Romney or Mickey Mouse is the answer to these problems, make your vote count. Be the change you want to see. Empower leadership and embrace opportunity this election, because this very well could be the most important election our world has ever seen.
