NORTHWOOD — A 25-year-old man died Saturday morning in single-vehicle crash in this community.

Ryan Weisert was reported dead at the scene of the crash, near the intersection of Marks Hill Road and Lilac Avenue, according to a news release from the Worth County Sheriff’s Office.

The release stated the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about the crash at 7:26 a.m. Saturday.

The incident remains under investigation.

Northwood Fire and Rescue Department and Mason City ambulance crews assisted at the scene.
