FREEBORN — A 33-year-old man was injured Sunday night after his vehicle rolled about a mile south of Freeborn.

According to a Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office news release, the man was driving north on 640th Avenue when he reportedly lost control at a curve in the road, went into the south ditch and then back onto the roadway, where the vehicle rolled and landed in the north ditch.

The man’s name has not been released.

The release stated the man was transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and then flown to Rochester.

The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, the release states. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
