Minnesota Timberwolves Quartet on All-star Ballot

Timberwolves players Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic and Andrei Kirilenko are listed on this season’s NBA all-star fan ballots released Tuesday.

Love, recovering from a broken right hand, was a Western Conference reserve the last two seasons. Rubio, recovering from torn ligaments in his left knee, competed in the Rookie Challenge Game during all-star weekend last season.

Kirilenko, averaging 11.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.7 steals in his first season with the Timberwolves, was a Western Conference reserve in 2004 when he played for the Utah Jazz. Kirilenko has been a key contributor to the Timberwolves’ 5-2 start.

Pekovic, in his third season with the Timberwolves, is making his first appearance on the ballot. Pekovic is averaging 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds.

Fans will vote for the starters for each conference. Ballots can be cast at NBA arenas and at NBA.com , among other options.

Balloting will conclude Jan. 14. The starters will be announced Jan. 17 for the Feb. 17 game in Houston.
