ROSEVILLE — A Minnesota jazz musician is hoping a thief will return 15 years of original compositions stolen from his car.

Last Thursday in Roseville, someone bashed in a window of Jason Weismann’s car and stole an iPad and a cloth bag filled with binders of handwritten notes.

Weismann, who lives in Richfield, says he wants his lifetime of work returned. He says losing the compositions is “like losing children.”

Weismann said he is offering a $300 reward for the return of the binders “no questions asked.”

Roseville police say they have no suspects.
