Halloween is supposed to be a fun time for all the little kids in our neighborhood. This is supposed to build trust in our neighborhood.

I opened the door for a trick-or-treater, and I put the candy in his bag. He proceeded not to say thank you and also proceeded to grab a big handful of candy out of our container and ran off with it. This is stealing!

If this is what we have for young adults coming of age, this just reinforces the fact that we are not teaching our children common core practices of what is right and wrong. This young man was around 14 years of age.

What are the consequences of these action going to be when he turns of legal age? If he is stealing candy now, what will he do next?
