We all need benchmarks in our lives to see if we are going forward or backward. The latest figures that I have found show Minnesota is rated at from No. 12 to No. 17 — call it an average of No. 15 — in overall taxes among the 50 states. Any bets on how long it takes for the Democratic-controlled state Legislature to get us back into the top 10 most taxes states? How about the top five?
