A 43-year-old Ellendale man injured Saturday after his pickup collided with a train is listed in good condition at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
David Martin Christensen was traveling eastbound in a gray 1991 GMC Sonoma on 775th Avenue, a gravel road a few miles north of Clarks Grove, when he crashed into a southbound Union Pacific Train at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday.
There are no railroad crossing arms or lights at the intersection.
Christensen was the sole occupant in his vehicle.
