Meth habit results in 20 years’ probation

AUSTIN — An Austin woman who was arrested on April 24 with a large amount of meth was sentenced Thursday to 20 years of supervised probation.
Sikkim Leang, 28, was convicted of third-degree drug possession, a felony. According to the court complaint, police found 28.1 grams of meth and 6.7 grams of marijuana when they executed a search warrant at the 300 block of Second St. NE.
In the complaint, Leang admitted the drugs belonged to her, and she said she sold meth at $80 a gram to support her own drug habit during several months in early 2012.
