MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police said a man found stabbed in an apartment has died.

Officers responded to the report of a stabbing late on Saturday afternoon. They transported the victim to the hospital where he died a few hours later.

Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen McCarty said there are no suspects in custody but that preliminary information suggests no risk to the general public. The department’s Homicide unit is investigating the case.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
