CHISAGO LAKE TOWNSHIP — Authorities said the search for a missing Oakdale woman has uncovered no new clues.
About 300 volunteers gathered Thursday to look for 27-year-old Danielle Jelinek. She was reported missing on Dec. 16 after she disappeared from a home in Chisago Lake Township. Searchers headed out again Friday, but that evening the Chisago County sheriff’s office said the search has yielded no new information.
With weather expected to worsen, search efforts will switch to concentrated areas Saturday. There is no call for volunteers.
Sheriff Rick Duncan says the last person to see Jelinek is a man family members describe as a friend with whom Jelinek had a past romantic relationship. Authorities say a search of the man’s house turned up Jelinek’s cell phone and purse.
