WARREN — A missing northwestern Minnesota man has been found dead in a field, a possible victim of exposure to the cold.
The body of the 59-year-old Warren man was found Thursday morning a quarter-mile from his rural home.
Marshall County sheriff’s office manager Jim Duckstad said it’s not known yet how long the man’s body had been lying there. The body was found about a quarter-mile from the man’s all-terrain vehicle stuck in snow.
The man was last seen Jan. 17 on his ATV about 15 miles east of Warren.
Duckstad said the man apparently tried to walk back home from his ATV. The man’s name has not been released.
An autopsy is planned.
