Sena Lucille Mitch nee Mathews died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. She was 79 years old. Late of Homewood, beloved wife of Carl J. Mitch. Dear mother of Cheryl Mitch, Tamara “Tami” McNicholas and Karlyn (Matthew) Strack.

Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Matthew and Michael (fiancee Sadie Cooper) McNicholas, Sena Mortensen, Katelyn, Emily and Mary Jo Strack. Great-grandmother of Adeline McNicholas. Loving sister of John (Paula) Mathews, Ronald (Betty) Mathews, Karen (Mark) Stuart, the late Carolyn Head, the late Richard Mathews and the late Suzanne (Charles) Enge. Visitation will be at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 Dixie Highway. Homewood, Ill., from 3 to 8 p.m. today. Lying in state at Salem Lutheran Church, 18324 Ashland Ave., Homewood Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
