Sex offender meeting scheduled
The Albert Lea Police Department has scheduled a meeting for 6 p.m. Tuesday to notify the public about the release of a high-risk sex offender into the community.
The meeting will be in Marion Hall at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea.
A community meeting previously scheduled for tonight at the Geneva Community Center has been canceled.
Robert Carl Goodew, 21, a Level 3 offender, is set to be released from prison on Saturday, and police state he listed his address as “homeless.”
A notification fact sheet states Goodew engaged in sexual conduct and contact with a 12-year-old boy. He reportedly showed explicit videos to the boy and physically forced him into “fondling,” the notification states.
Goodew had previously been scheduled to be released to an address near Hollandale.
He is white with a fair complexion, medium build, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 218 pounds.
Woman arrested for drug sale
Albert Lea police arrested Heather Marie Krumrie, 23, for second-degree drug sale and fifth-degree drug possession at 2:33 a.m. today at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Main Street, according to reports.

Albert Lea police arrested Stephanie Lyn Dudley, 37, with second-degree drug possession after a traffic stop at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Main Street and Wilson Street, according to reports.
Door damaged
A basement door was reported kicked in at 305 Lakeview Boulevard Wednesday morning, according to Albert Lea police.
