WELLS — The Albert Lea boys’ basketball team earned its fourth win of the season at United South Central 57-56.
“Everyone contributed, despite foul trouble,” Albert Lea head coach Lucas Kreuscher said. “We attacked the basket and played well on both ends of the court.”
Three players tied with a game-high 14 points: Albert Lea’s Miles Erdman and USC’s Colin Becher and Cole Stencel.
Erdman made one of two free throws on the Tigers’ last possession to take a one-point lead, and the Rebels were unable to convert in the final seconds, Kreuscher said.
Jorge Sena added 13 points for Albert Lea.
The Tigers improve to 4-4 while USC falls to 5-6.
