1 dead in Otter Tail County plane crash

PARKERS PRAIRIE — The pilot of a small plane has died in a crash in western Minnesota.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said it got a call about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday that a plane had gone down north of Parkers Prairie. A man who lives along county Highway 40 heard the crash and found the damaged single-engine plane on his property.

The pilot was alone in the plane and did not survive the crash.
