1 injured in crash near Wells

A Janesville woman received injuries that were not life-threatening after a crash two miles south of Wells on Wednesday.

Tina Whiteman, 49, of Janesville, was driving a 2008 Chevy Cobalt southbound on Highway 22 when her car rear-ended a 1997 Ford pickup that was turning left into a residential driveway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The pickup was occupied by Bradley Hodge, 62, and Brian Hodge, 62, both of Minnesota Lake. Neither man was injured.

The crash happened at 9 a.m. Wednesday, and road conditions were reportedly dry. Everyone involved was reportedly wearing seat belts, and no alcohol was detected in the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and Wells Police Department responded to the crash.
