I have been in a lot of small cities all over the U.S. and have yet to see a more beautiful city than Albert Lea. Such beautiful lakes and parks. Now, with the downtown work and the do-over of the park on North Broadway, it will be all the more beautiful.

For a town of this size, I have the best of everything — best neighbors, best council, best police force, best fire department, best schools, best hospital and best museum. I could go on and on.

Now put it at the Interstate 35 and Interstate 90 crossroads with two nice truck stops. What a place to be! And I even have my 6th Ward councilor (Al “Minnow” Brooks.)

Don’t hold anything against him, he really is not that bad of a guy and his nice wife more than makes up for it. I say for the good life, come to Albert Lea. And to use a phrase from another gentleman in Albert Lea, I will say — just my opinion!
