At the Section 2A wrestling meet hosted by Blue Earth, three New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva wrestlers and five grapplers from United South Central qualified for the state meet.

Section champs were Derek Herman at 138 pounds and Colten Carlson, 182 pounds, of USC.

Finishing as section runners-up were USC’s Jacob Gonsalez, Dylan Herman and Logan Sonnek. NRHEG’s Cordell Peterson, Dillon Kubiatowicz and Wyatt Fitterer also qualfied for the state meet as runners up.
