The Albert Lea wrestling team earned a 46-23 Parent’s Night victory over Rochester John Marshall on Friday.

The Tigers have won three straight duals to finish the regular season.

Earning pins for Albert Lea were Trevor Westerlund, Dakota Wangsness, Lucas Hansen, Bany Chan, Tim Christianson, Tristan Westerlund and Jacob Kunkel.

Westerlund earned the fastest pin for the Tigers in 16 seconds.

Garrett Wangsness won by major decision (19-8).

The Tigers are 18-2 overall, 7-1 in the Big Nine Conference and 4-1 in their section.

In its last 10 duals, Albert Lea is 8-2.

The Tigers are second in the conference standings. Owatonna has the top spot at 9-0.

Next, Albert Lea will compete at the sectional tournament.
