A community sew day is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 20 at the Senior Center in Skyline Plaza as part of the local Shinefest activities.

Participants are asked to bring their sewing machine, scissors, pins and a sack lunch.

Sewing kits for various projects will be provided including quilts, baby bibs, dresses, personal care bags and adult cover-ups.

Beverages and cookies will be provided.
