I want to extend a congratulations to the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva girls’ basketball team for their well-deserved Class AA state title. I missed sitting courtside at the Target Center to watch what turned out to be a historic game, but I cheered you on from Nashville and was able to stream your final two games online. Covering the Panthers was one of the biggest highlights during my two years at the Tribune, and I couldn’t be happier for coach John Schultz and his staff, Carlie Wagner, her family and teammates and the NRHEG community. Good luck on the road to repeat!
