“We hope that this retreat will invite couples to intentionally focus on one other and strengthen their relationships,” said the Rev. Andrea Myers, associate pastor at Grace Lutheran Church, in a press release. “We are excited to welcome Family Fest Ministries to Grace.”

Organizers describe the Family Fest Marriage Booster as an upbeat and fun Christian retreat that helps couples develop the tools necessary to build a strong marriage. The retreat is for couples at all stages of their relationship.

Couples will focus on communication styles, money issues, intimacy, the languages of love, priorities and expectations within the partnership.

The retreat is also described as fast-paced, faith-filled and non-threatening. Couples will have plenty of time to engage in conversations, while hearing from energetic and experienced speakers who will provide tools couples can use the rest of their lives to strengthen their marriage.

The event will be presented by Pete Larson and Beth Ulrich of Family Fest Ministries, which is a multi-denominational ministry focused on strengthening families and marriages based in Bloomington.
